Young people in Uganda to petition Parliament, to make contraceptive services universally accessible and affordable.

Youth health activists in Uganda have vowed to petition the chairperson of the health committee of parliament of Uganda over the need to priorities and increase investment for reproductive health services and supplies by making contraceptives services universally available, accessible and affordable to all young people. This was during the 2016 Post World Contraceptive Day Community Activation held Saturday 15th October 2016 at the Kasangati Grounds in Wakiso district. The community activation was organized by Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum in partnership with Public Health Ambassadors Uganda, the Youth Equality Center Uganda and Naguru Teenage and Information Center under the theme; “Contraception; It’s Your Life, It’s Your Responsibility”
